Required qualifications include a BA/BS, 5 years of relevant experience, and a active DoD Secret clearance. Certifications such as Net+CE or CCNA are required, with CCNA completion within 90 days if Net+CE.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree required.
• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Certifications: CompTIA Net+CE or Cisco CCNA; CCNA required within 90 days if Net+CE.
• Active DOD Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provides remote Network Operations Center support from a forward-deployed location.
• Backup NOC capabilities for redundancy.
• Monitors network infrastructure and systems from remote location.
• Coordinates with primary NOC personnel for handoffs.
• Provides NOC management decision-making support during disruptions.
• Performs network monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting.
• Maintains proficiency with NOC tools and procedures.
• Supports distributed operations model during crisis or disaster recovery.
• Coordinates with on-site base personnel for local issues.
• Ensures continuous network monitoring coverage and awareness.
• Participates in NOC training and readiness activities.
• Maintains secure communications with primary NOC.
