SMS Data Products Group, Inc. in Bangor, ME is hiring a Network Administrator Mid to support the Base Infrastructure Modernization contract.

The role provides Tier 2 network administration and remote NOC support to Air National Guard personnel, maintaining NIPR and SIPR base networks from Bangor. Candidates should have a BA/BS, 5+ years of relevant experience, Cisco CCNA or equivalent, and CompTIA Security+ CE, and an active DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provides remote Network Operations Center support from forward-deployed location ensuring continuity of NOC operations and distributed network management capabilities
• Serves as backup NOC operations capability providing redundancy for centralized NOC functions
• Monitors assigned network infrastructure and systems from remote location
• Coordinates with primary NOC personnel ensuring seamless handoff of monitoring and management responsibilities
• Provides NOC management decision-making support during primary NOC disruptions or contingency situations
• Performs network monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting activities independently
• Maintains proficiency with all NOC tools, processes, and procedures
• Supports distributed operations model enabling resilient network management during crisis or disaster recovery scenarios
• Coordinates with on-site base personnel for localized network issues
• Ensures continuous network monitoring coverage and operational awareness
• Participates in NOC training and readiness activities
• Maintains secure communications and coordination channels with primary NOC

Required Qualifications

• Experience - 5 Years of relevant experience
• Certifications Required:
  • Cisco CCNA or equivalent
