Job summary
J.S. Held LLC in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our NJ environmental team. The role focuses on environmental site assessment, investigation, and remediation for commercial and real estate clients, with 3–5 years of NJ-specific experience.
You will work with Project Managers and LSRPs, lead technical reporting, coordinate field activities, and support business development while ensuring compliance with NJ regulations and ASTM standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, Biology, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in environmental site assessment, site investigation, and site remediation in New Jersey.
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute environmental site assessment projects per NJ regulations and ASTM standards.
- Coordinate field activities and provide technical guidance to project teams.
- Prepare technical reports and regulatory submissions (PARs, SIRs, RIRs, RAWs, RARs).
- Mentor junior staff and support business development.
