Job summary

North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University is seeking a Grant Administrator to support administration, operations, and compliance for NIH-funded RCMI activities focused on brain health and cardiometabolic diseases.

The role reports to the RCMI Center Manager and requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field with 3+ years of grant admin experience, including pre- and post-award activities. Hybrid work and strong collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or related business area and three years of administrative management or business management experience.
• Preferred: four (4) or more years of comprehensive pre- and post-award grant administration experience, overseeing large federal initiatives such as NIH R01, U24, or P30/P50.
• On-site/hybrid work arrangements may apply according to university policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized fiscal management and compliance oversight for NIH RCIMI grants.
• Oversee expenditures across four cores, two R01-scale projects, and eighteen pilot awards.
• Ensure grant compliance and timely reporting following NIH and university requirements.
• Collaborate with center leadership, investigators, community partners, and stakeholders to support strategic priorities.
