Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA seeks a Virtual Patient Safety Attendant to monitor at-risk patients from a remote station during the 7:00 PM–7:30 AM shift with rotating weekends. You will watch for falls or self-harm, communicate concerns to the care team, and document changes accurately while protecting patient privacy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• NCI must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Watch patients with continuous focus to ensure safety and well-being.
• Identify risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alert the care team.
• Document patient activity and changes with accuracy and clarity during shift.
• Safeguard confidential information and maintain patient privacy at all times.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote compassion, respect and teamwork.

Education

High School Diploma/GED

Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days

Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days
