Job summary

Scale Content Inc. is seeking an experienced News Anchor/Host to deliver original video coverage across news, politics and current affairs.

You will be a confident on‑camera communicator with strong editorial judgment and political awareness. You will present long‑form and short‑form segments, monitor the news cycle, research stories and guests, write and shape scripts, and conduct authoritative interviews that inform and engage diverse audiences.

Qualifications

Strong experience as a news anchor or host
Excellent editorial judgment and understanding of politics and current affairs
Confident, credible on-camera presence and interviewing skills
Ability to explain complex subjects clearly and concisely

Responsibilities

Present long-form and short-form news analysis, commentary, interviews, and breaking-news coverage with clarity and authority
Monitor the news cycle and stay informed on political developments and major events
Identify lead stories with editorial team and determine coverage priorities
Prepare for and lead coverage of elections, budgets, government announcements, debates, and geopolitical events
Research stories and guests, craft interview questions, and collaborate on scripts and segments
Conduct authoritative interviews with newsmakers, analysts, and experts
Translate complex political developments into clear, engaging content
Contribute to recurring formats and the programme’s editorial identity
Respond quickly to breaking news and adapt as scripts and rundowns change
Travel for field assignments and production requirements
