What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage a high volume of referral orders in the electronic health record and make outbound calls to schedule new patient appointments
- Handle incoming calls from various channels for patients needing to schedule visits with a primary care provider
- Verify and update insurance information, checking eligibility and documenting demographics accurately
- Provide excellent customer service, communicating professionally with patients, providers, and staff
- Navigate the electronic health record to capture and document necessary clinical and financial information while maintaining patient privacy
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Recent healthcare or customer service experience
- Ability to type a minimum speed of 35 words per minute with 90% accuracy
- Must live within 1 hour of St. Louis, Missouri
- No supervisory experience required
