Job summary

The University of Minnesota Medical School’s Department of Radiology seeks one fulltime ABR board certified/eligible radiologist with a primary interest in Neuroradiology. Academic rank, compensation and appointment type will be based on qualifications and experience.

Candidates must have demonstrated ability in teaching and in scholarly productivity in one or more specialty areas in radiology. The position emphasizes neuroradiology service for inpatients and outpatients, with opportunities for

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements are an M.D or equivalent degree, eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Minnesota, board certified or board eligible, completion of ACGME radiology residency.
• Completion of a neuroradiology fellowship is preferred.
• Advanced imaging expertise (e.g. fMRI, ASL, DTI, MRP) is preferred.
• Subspecializations can vary (Pediatrics, Interventional, Spine Therapy, Head & Neck, Neuro-Oncology) and related strengths.

Responsibilities

• Spend significant time on a neuroradiology service serving inpatients and outpatients.
• Participate in neuroradiology and in post-graduate/medical school instruction.
• Pursue scholarly work in the candidate’s area of specialty/research.
• Foster an academic environment for students, residents and faculty.
