Job summary

Medtronic plc is seeking a committed Clinical Specialist to support Neuromodulation Pain and Target Drug Delivery Therapies. This field-based role requires residence within the territory, with travel to multiple accounts and potential overnight travel.

A valid driver’s license is essential as travel is a core part of the job. The specialist will educate patients, physicians, and hospital staff, assist during implantation, provide post-implant support, and manage device programming and testing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with clinical/medical sales experience or higher.
• Associates degree with 4+ years clinical/medical sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years clinical/medical sales experience.
• Healthcare related degree preferred (healthcare field).
• Advanced degrees may be advantageous for the role.

Responsibilities

• Represent Medtronic as device specialist during surgical procedures; ensure equipment availability and device testing.
• Educate and manage patients through all phases of the clinical process (pre/post implant).
• Educate and train physicians and hospital staff on products/therapies through sessions and in-services.
• Respond promptly to device-related inquiries from customers and patients.
