Job summary

Supernus Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to bridge the gap between the company and the medical community, focusing on neurologic disorders such as movement disorders and Parkinson's disease. The MSL serves as a clinical and scientific expert, educating healthcare professionals and building relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.

Candidates should hold MD, PharmD, PhD, or Doctor of Nursing, or a neuroscience degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience; clinical

Qualifications

  • MD, PharmD, PhD, or Doctor of Nursing, or other neuroscience degree with a minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • Previous clinical and/or clinical research in neurosciences preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with regional and national KOLs and HCPs including at various practice types including academic centers, healthcare systems, and community healthcare systems.
  • Function as the subject matter expert on scientific, clinical, and pharmacologic information for relevant neuroscience specialty areas.
  • Provide scientifically accurate, compliant responses to unsolicited requests for medical information.
  • Identify, develop, and execute regional territory plans for compliant medical personnel engagement aligned with Medical Affairs strategies.
  • Assist the Medical Affairs Department and the Medical Team in field-based operations to include Congresses, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Commercial Sales and Marketing, Corporate Accounts, R&D, Regulatory, and Legal.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives and Medical Affairs Projects.
  • Establishes self as an internal subject matter expert on relevant therapeutic areas.
  • Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
