Job summary

Dane Street invites Board Certified Physicians to join our Disability Peer Review team in a fully remote, contract-based role. Evaluate disability claims from home with flexible scheduling and independent case selection.

As a 1099 reviewer, you will provide advisory-only opinions after reviewing medical records. Expect a streamlined workflow, training, and ongoing support from the Dane Street team.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Neuro-Ophthalmology.
• Current, unrestricted medical license.
• 5+ years of clinical practice experience.
• Experience in conducting Disability Peer Reviews preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and review disability claims from home as an independent consultant.
• Choose services and case types, determine volume, and conduct work based on your schedule.
• No doctor–patient relationship is established; opinions are advisory-only.
• Typical turnaround time is 3–5 business days; Dane Street coordinates administrative tasks to free your time for clinical decisions.
• Dane Street provides training and ongoing support with a dedicated contact for reviews.
