Job summary

HushOne, Inc. is seeking a skilled engineer to design and implement secure, observable access across devices you own or authorize. You will build authenticated discovery, encrypted connections, NAT traversal, and network-aware scheduling for home networks with challenging links and NATs.

You will measure performance across distributed systems, ensuring debuggability and visibility without turning connections into surveillance channels, while maintaining strong security on network boundaries.

Qualifications

• Networking and distributed-systems experience, including protocol debugging at the packet level.
• Practical understanding of home-network constraints, not just data-centre assumptions.
• Ability to make a connection observable enough to diagnose without creating a surveillance channel.
• Security instincts about traffic crossing network boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Build authenticated device discovery, encrypted connections, NAT traversal and network-aware scheduling.
• Measure bandwidth, latency, data movement and disconnections; separate remote task dispatch from distributed training.
• Demonstrate two-site execution prototype within 90 days with revocation, transfer accounting and clear behavior during network loss.
