First Quality Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Network Security Engineer to remotely manage and optimize firewall, VPN, NAC, and micro-segmentation across our security stack. You will collaborate with security and network teams to enforce comprehensive policies, analyze rules for performance impacts, and support change management for critical configurations.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Palo Alto experience, Panorama/SCM familiarity, and VPN expertise, with preferred certifications like

Qualifications

• 3+ years networking experience with 2+ years in firewall engineering.
• Hands-on Palo Alto firewall infrastructure in an enterprise.
• Experience with Panorama and SCM interfaces.
• VPN, IPsec, IKE, SSL; site-to-site and remote access expertise.
• Familiarity with NAC concepts; micro-segmentation in virtualized DCs.
• Certifications preferred: PCNSA/PCNSE or CISSP.

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring and management of firewall, VPN, NAC, and micro-segmentation platforms.
• Collaborate with security and network teams to enforce policies.
• Analyze firewall rulesets for performance and security gaps.
• Support change management for security configurations and deployments.
• Utilize tools like Algosec/Tufin to optimize firewall policies.
• Configure firewall logs for SOC monitoring and incident response.
