Job summary

Megamax is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to design, secure, and maintain enterprise networks in a fully remote role. You will configure FortiGate firewalls, manage LAN/WAN, and optimize SD-WAN across distributed environments. Strong English communication and 30-day notice are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive professional experience in network engineering, infrastructure administration, and network security.
• Strong hands‑on operational expertise in enterprise routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, VLANs).
• Comprehensive practical experience managing LAN/WAN infrastructures, wireless networking, and SD-WAN solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, deploy, and maintain robust enterprise routing and switching architectures across distributed networks.
• Administer and secure LANs and WANs for high availability and low latency.
• Implement, manage, and optimize wireless networking infrastructures and corporate Wi-Fi access solutions.
• Deploy, configure, and manage SD-WAN topologies and connectivity tunnels.
• Configure, monitor, and harden FortiGate firewalls, security policies, VPN tunnels, and threat protection services.
• Conduct network performance monitoring, bandwidth optimization, and periodic vulnerability assessments.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, cybersecurity teams, and IT support squads on incident resolution.
• Maintain meticulous network topology diagrams, firewall rule change logs, SOPs, and audit records.
