Job summary

Naukri Mitra is seeking an Online Network Security Analyst to monitor traffic, spot anomalies, and shut down threats before incidents occur. This is a remote role available to both part-time and full-time applicants.

You’ll routinely monitor security systems, run vulnerability assessments, manage firewalls and IDS/IPS, and document incidents clearly so colleagues can pick up where you left off. A hands-on track record in network security is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with network security operations.
• Firewall configuration and intrusion detection systems are familiar territory.
• Solid grasp of network protocols and how attackers exploit them.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring network traffic and security systems for unusual activity.
• Digging into anything flagged as suspicious and working it through to resolution.
• Running vulnerability assessments and recommending fixes.
• Managing firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Conducting periodic audits to check compliance with security policies.
• Documenting incidents clearly so others can pick up where you left off.
