Job summary

Oscar Health is hiring a Senior Specialist, Network Recruitment to support contract data and provider relations. The role blends remote work with occasional travel for client meetings and team events.

The Senior Specialist will manage provider contracting workflows, build recruitment lists, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate in-flight contracts and network growth. This position reports to the Manager, Network Recruitment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2+ years of healthcare contract coordination experience.
• 2+ years in healthcare contract coordination, provider relations, or similar in a managed care environment.

Responsibilities

• Use demographic data to create recruitment lists targeting network adequacy by geography.
• Assist in provider contracts and Letters of Agreement preparation, review and execution.
• Collaborate with Provider Recruitment to address data-related contracting inquiries.
• Manage the 'Request to Join' process and the 'Join Our Network' mailbox for new provider contracts.
• Generate reports on provider contract data updates and network status.
• Coordinate with departments to set up providers in enterprise data systems, including directory and credentialing processes.
• Maintain and verify contracting data in the network database.
• Support special projects to ensure completeness of the contracting database.
• Screen and research incoming provider requests from multiple channels.
• Participate in process improvements to streamline workflows and provider experience.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned
