Job summary

Talantir is seeking a Network Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain complex enterprise network infrastructure across diverse environments. The role emphasizes high availability, security, and performance, spanning WAN/LAN, SD-WAN, cloud platforms, and data center networks.

The candidate should bring extensive routing/switching expertise, hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper/Meraki devices, virtualization, and cloud services (AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; CCNP/CCIE highly preferred.
• Proven experience with enterprise-grade networking including Cisco IOS/ASA/Meraki devices; Juniper experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF/EIGRP/BGP/MPLS) and switching technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support enterprise network architectures (LAN/WAN/SD‑WAN).
• Configure and manage Cisco/Juniper/Meraki devices and firewalls.
• Implement and maintain network security protocols (SSO, encryption, VPN).
• Administer data center networks with VMware, SAN storage, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Monitor network performance with SolarWinds, PRTG, Splunk and similar tools.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and remediation for cyber threats.
• Automate network operations using Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Ansible.
• Manage remote access solutions (SSH, VPNs, TLS).
• Support TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, load balancing, and network architecture planning.
• Collaborate in Agile DevOps teams to integrate network support in CI/CD.
• Maintain documentation using GPOs/LDAP; perform Linux/UNIX administration tasks.
