Lyntris is seeking a Network Engineer to support configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of government network environments. The role requires an active U.S. security clearance and collaboration with government engineers and Cyber/IA teams.

Responsibilities include LAN/WAN support, troubleshooting, lab testing of Cisco technologies, and documentation of changes. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. national security clearance required.
• 3+ years in networking or IT infrastructure.
• Experience with Cisco devices including switches/routers/firewalls.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and switching concepts.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Splunk).
• Ability to create/update technical documentation and diagrams.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of network environments.
• Collaborate with U.S. Government network engineers and Cyber/IA teams.
• Help maintain LANs and WANs.
• Troubleshoot network hardware/software issues and restore services.
• Test, configure, and learn Cisco networking in lab environments.
• Assist with implementing network solutions and upgrades.
• Support security initiatives and monitoring tools.
• Document configurations and procedures for operations.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and IT staff on projects.
