Job summary

Ascent Global Logistics, headquartered in Belleville, Michigan, seeks a Network Engineer to manage and enhance our enterprise network across LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud connectivity. You’ll support branch sites, Azure workloads, and remote users with VPN/ZTNA and SD-WAN, while maintaining documentation and responding to incidents promptly.

The role requires 2+ years in enterprise networking, hands-on Cisco/Meraki/Fortinet experience, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
2+ years supporting enterprise networking including routing, switching, wireless, VLANs, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, and monitoring.
Hands-on with Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet and SD-WAN technologies; CCSNA/Network+ desirable.

Responsibilities

Implement, monitor, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across LAN/WAN, wireless, and cloud connectivity.
Support branch, Azure workloads, remote users, and site-to-site VPN/ZTNA via Cato SD-WAN.
Maintain documentation, runbooks, and assist with incident response and after-hours support.
Collaborate with vendors, security teams, and internal groups to enforce network policies.
