Job summary

SupplyHouse.com is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and support a secure, high-availability network across offices, fulfillment centers, and cloud environments. This role emphasizes hands-on networking, security, voice, and infrastructure coordination with IT teams.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in corporate networks, CS/IT degree, and proficiency with Cisco or HPE Aruba devices, firewalls, and Zero Trust concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting corporate network environments.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and Zero Trust concepts.
• Hands-on experience with routing, switching, and wireless technologies, preferably Cisco and/or HPE Aruba.
• Experience with next-generation firewalls, remote access/VPN technologies, and network security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support resilient, high-availability LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN solutions.
• Analyze, configure, and maintain core network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Participate in capacity planning, traffic analysis, and performance tuning, making recommendations for upgrades.
• Plan, implement, and document network changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Monitor network health using management and monitoring tools; proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Provide escalation-level troubleshooting for network and related infrastructure issues.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, Zero Trust solutions, and security appliances.
• Maintain awareness of PCI compliance, security standards, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams on incident response and vulnerability mitigation.
• Design, deploy, and support Voice, VoIP, and video conferencing solutions.
• Assist with phone system deployments and ongoing support.
