Job summary

SupplyHouse.com is seeking a Network Engineer to join the IT Infrastructure & Network Engineering Team. This remote role reports to the Senior Manager and supports LAN/WAN, security, voice, and cloud connectivity across offices, fulfillment centers, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities include designing resilient networks, configuring firewalls and VPNs, and ensuring PCI/compliance awareness. Travel up to 10% annually is possible, with occasional on-site needs and timezone-flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience with designing, implementing, and supporting corporate network environments.
• Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and Zero Trust concepts.
• Hands-on experience with routing, switching, and wireless technologies, preferably Cisco and/or HPE Aruba.
• Experience with next-generation firewalls, remote access/VPN technologies, and network security best practices.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, TLS, and routing protocols such as OSPF or BGP.
• Experience using network monitoring and management tools.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, and authentication services.
• Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also functioning as part of a team.
• Customer-focused attitude with a passion for helping others.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support resilient, high-availability LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN solutions.
• Analyze, configure, and maintain core network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Participate in capacity planning, traffic analysis, and performance tuning with upgrade recommendations.
• Plan, implement, and document network changes, upgrades, and maintenance with minimal business impact.
• Monitor network health using management tools and proactively resolve issues.
• Provide escalation-level troubleshooting for network/infrastructure issues.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, Zero Trust solutions, and security appliances.
• Enforce network security policies and PCI-related compliance awareness.
