Job summary

The Network Engineer role at AlfaTech combines network design, security, and server administration in a hybrid San Jose setting. Qualifications

• Experience maintaining a Windows 2022 server environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure AD and on-prem AD environments, ESX virtualization, Fortinet firewall environments, SD WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, and routing.
• Strong Veeam backup software experience and security risk management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new network solutions and improve current networks.
• Install, configure, and support network equipment, including routers, switches, servers, AD, DNS, and DHCP.
• Maintain firewalls, routing and switching for efficiency and security.
• Monitor and improve network performance with troubleshooting and pen testing.
• Provide helpdesk support and mentor helpdesk staff.
