UnitedHealthcare is seeking a Network Contract Manager to develop and manage the provider network across markets, focusing on cost effectiveness and broad access.

The role requires negotiating contracts, maintaining provider relationships, and ensuring compliant processes while supporting multiple lines of business. Remote work is available for candidates in EST/CST/MST time zones; standard hours are 8-5 EST.

Formación

• 3+ years of contract review, creation, and negotiation in a network management-related role.
• 2+ years of experience using financial models and analysis to negotiate rates with providers.
• Intermediate level of proficiency using MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willing and able to work Eastern hours and have access to reliable transportation with a valid US driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Primarily responsible for Physician Contracting supporting the PA/DE markets.
• Managing relationships with providers.
• Manage unit cost budgets, target setting, performance reporting and associated financial models.
• Guide development of the network and negotiate agreements yielding broad access and an affordable product.
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts in compliance with templates and reimbursement standards.
• Provide explanations and information on difficult issues to internal stakeholders.
• Work cross-functionally to resolve issues.
• Support physicians, FQHC/RHC, urgent care and other contracting needs across lines of business.
