Job summary

Dice is seeking a .NET Developer for a remote role within Wisconsin. The position is a 10+ month contract with potential extension, focusing on web-based application development using .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, and .NET Core.

The candidate should have 5-8+ years in C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, SQL Server, and related technologies, with knowledge of secure SD frameworks (NIST 800-218 SSDF, ISO 27034). Strong communication and a related degree or equivalent experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in an area of specialty, or 5+ years of experience in the field or a related area.

Responsibilities

• Development and support of web-based applications using .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, and .NET Core.
• Supported programming languages, including C#, C, and Bootstrap (5+ years); C++ is also identified in the client description.
• Supported scripting languages, including TypeScript and JavaScript (5+ years).
• ASP.NET and SSRS reporting.
• Front-end and back-end development of web applications and web APIs (web services).
• SQL back-end and stored procedure experience (5+ years); SQL Server and relational database experience.
• Knowledge of secure software development frameworks, including NIST 800-218 SSDF and ISO 27034, to ensure secure and compliant systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, judgment, and diplomacy.
