Job summary

Vaya Health is seeking an Application Product Developer for a remote, Monday–Friday role working 8:30am–5:00pm EST. You will design, architect, and implement custom applications, translating requirements into scalable solutions while collaborating with MIS, BI, and analytics teams.

The position emphasizes end-to-end development, documentation, and adherence to security standards, with opportunities to improve processes and leverage modern web technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in application development.
Strong knowledge of custom application design and development.
Experience collaborating with multiple teams to deliver solutions.
Familiarity with security standards for applications.

Responsibilities

Translate requirements into completed applications with design and build phases.
Develop reusable, reliable code ensuring performance and responsiveness.
Plan, design, and implement custom applications with stakeholders.
Coordinate testing, user acceptance, and sign-off processes.
Own and maintain created applications, schedule upgrades with minimal impact.
Document technical details and ensure security standards.
Monitor health and performance of systems and address issues.
