Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a skilled software engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using C# and .NET Core. You will build robust RESTful APIs with ASP.NET Core, implement microservices, and optimize SQL Server databases.

Qualifications

• Strong experience developing applications with C# and .NET Core (including .NET 6 or later).
• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core and Web API development; designing RESTful APIs and web services.
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server, relational design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Practical experience with Entity Framework and LINQ for data access and manipulation.
• Strong OOP, design patterns, and clean code practices.
• Experience designing or maintaining microservices architectures.
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and QA.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and collaborative software development practices.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps for automated builds and deployments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services in enterprise environments.
• Understanding of security, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, detail-oriented and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, and modern .NET versions.
• Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core and Web API.
• Develop and integrate microservices to support modular, scalable architectures.
• Design, manage, and optimize SQL Server databases, including structures, queries, and performance.
• Use Entity Framework and LINQ for data access and processing.
• Apply OOP, design patterns, and best practices to produce clean, maintainable code.
• Implement secure coding practices and optimize performance, reliability and scalability.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure quality.
• Support deployment and release processes through CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
• Leverage Microsoft Azure services for cloud-based development and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and drive continuous improvement.
• Use Git for version control and collaborative development.
