Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Mid-Level Backend Engineer for its Invoice & Tax team. You will own backend projects end-to-end, build services in .NET 10 within Docker, and design features from database schema to RESTful APIs, focusing on multi-country tax and invoicing rules.

You’ll work closely with product, frontend, and other backend engineers in an agile environment, writing tests and ensuring production readiness while embracing flexible remote work options.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience delivering backend features end-to-end in a cloud environment.
• Strong .NET / C# backend development experience.
• Comfort with multi-country tax and invoicing domains is a plus.
• Meticulous, detail-driven with proactive communication.

Responsibilities

• Own backend projects end to end from requirements to release.
• Build services using .NET 10 in Docker containers.
• Develop features from database design to RESTful APIs.
• Write unit and end-to-end tests and own production quality.
• Monitor services in production and address issues early.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and other backend engineers in an agile team.
