Job summary

Avanade Poland is seeking a .NET Backend Developer with Copilot Studio experience. You will design and build secure, scalable backend applications using .NET and Azure, and extend Copilot Studio agents leveraging enterprise knowledge sources.

You will work with distributed teams in an Agile environment to deliver AI-enabled backend solutions. The role emphasizes API design, agent development, and secure integration with enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Requirement: 3+ years of web development with .NET/.NET 10 is a plus.
• Experience building backend applications and APIs with ASP.NET Core.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs with backend systems.
• Hands-on experience building Copilot Studio agents in commercial or internal projects.
• Experience hosting .NET backends on Azure (Functions, App Service, Key Vault).
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server/Azure SQL).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• English at B2 level (daily use).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend apps and services using C#, .NET, and Azure.
• Build and integrate REST APIs used by Copilot Studio agents.
• Develop agents in Copilot Studio including topics and orchestration.
• Write agent instructions and grounding sources to improve accuracy.
• Extend agents with custom connectors and MCP servers.
• Integrate services with business systems and Dataverse.
• Secure APIs using Entra ID and OAuth 2.0 and apply DLP policies.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and deploy agents via Power Platform ALM.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in workshops and demos.
• Work with distributed teams using Agile methodologies.
