Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Sr Software Engineer for a remote, 3-month engagement in the United States. You will design, develop, and integrate .NET/Azure-based solutions, collaborating with product managers and engineers to deliver high-value, customer-facing systems.

The role emphasizes API-first design, real-time features with SignalR, and scalable architecture, with mentoring responsibilities and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Expert knowledge of REST + JSON and API-first design.
• Experience with .NET Core and SQL Server.
• Hands-on with Terraform, Kafka, Kubernetes, Redis.
• Experience with Azure, APIM, and KeyVaults.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Git workflows.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior developers.

Responsibilities

• Build functionality from the product backlog and deliver code.
• Write tests and ensure acceptance criteria are met.
• Document necessary designs and decisions.
• Collaborate with team to ensure features meet business goals.
• Decompose complex stories into tasks.
• Plan and estimate sprint tasks with project managers.
• Provide architectural input on REST, JSON, and data flows.
• Mentor junior developers and uphold coding standards.
• Craft scalable, secure, and high-quality code.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot and enhance existing solutions.
• Maintain clear communication with engineers, PMs, and stakeholders.
• Explain technical concepts to non-technical teammates.
• Lead team reviews, training, and planning sessions.
• Stay calm and productive under pressure.
