Job summary

Acunor Inc. seeks a seasoned Neo4j SME to lead graph database migrations on AWS, optimize performance, and deliver POCs and deployments from development to production. The role requires deep Neo4j expertise, graph modeling, and strong data migration capabilities.

You will collaborate with developers, analysts, and product teams, define UAT criteria, and ensure secure, scalable graph deployments across EC2/EKS environments. Remote-friendly contract-to-hire arrangement with extensive AWS exposure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Data Engineering experience.
• 4+ years of Graph Database experience.
• Deep expertise in Neo4j, Cypher, Graph Modeling, and APOC.
• Strong AWS experience with EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, and S3.
• Experience with data integration tools such as Spark, AWS DMS, or Data Sync.
• Knowledge of graph theory and Cypher or Gremlin.
• Experience with database benchmarking and load testing.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute migrations from on-premise/relational databases to Neo4j on AWS.
• Work with Neo4j AuraDB, EC2, and EKS environments.
• Develop and optimize Cypher queries, graph models, indexes, and performance.
• Conduct load testing and performance tuning for production workloads.
• Build POCs and technical demos for business stakeholders.
• Support developers, analysts, and product teams during implementation.
• Define UAT criteria, test scripts, data validation, and go-live activities.
• Ensure secure and reliable graph database deployments.
