Job summary

Applied Technical Services (ATS) is seeking Full-time Level II/III NDT Technicians with Nuclear Power Inspection experience for Southeast US engagements. You may work on outages, shutdowns, and project work, traveling from home with per diem and mileage paid.

Position may be remote with opportunities across the southeastern United States. Ideal candidates are self-starters who work well unsupervised, possess strong safety and quality ethics, and can lead and mentor others.

Qualifications

• Must meet the minimum requirements of an NDT Level II or III technician per ASNT-TC-1A with documentation of education, training and OJT.
• Able to pass stringent background checks for access to customer sites.
• Must be able to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Focus on Nuclear Power related inspections, testing and evaluations.
• Conduct NDT inspections in 2 or more methods as a Level II/III MT/PT/UT/UTT/UTS/VT/ET/PAUT technicians.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced inspectors.
• Set up, conduct tests, and calibrate equipment.
• Prepare reports and other documents accurately and timely.
• Interface daily with client about work priorities and projects.
