Job summary

McLarens is seeking an experienced National General Adjuster to join our Casualty team in a fully remote role based in the US. You will investigate, evaluate, and manage general liability claims from initial intake through resolution, delivering timely, accurate handling in line with client requirements and industry best practices.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial and residential general liability experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and an active state adjuster

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial and residential general liability experience.
• Experience handling general liability losses, product, contractors, and reinsurance preferred.
• Appropriate state adjuster license(s) required.
• National claims experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and manage casualty claim assignments from initial intake through resolution.
• Investigate general liability claims by reviewing documentation, photographs, reports, and other information.
• Analyze liability, damages, and policy coverage, escalating issues when appropriate.
• Communicate with insureds, claimants, carriers, brokers, attorneys, experts, and others throughout the claim process.
• Coordinate with McLarens Field Adjusters for on-site inspections or additional investigations.
• Prepare timely, accurate reports and maintain complete claim documentation.
• Manage claim diaries and ensure compliance with client service standards and reporting deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
