What We Do

We are looking to add a National Account Director to our growing team. In this role, you will advise new and existing customers on transactional risk insurance products related to commercial transactions. If you enjoy engaging with sophisticated stakeholders and leveraging your legal and financial expertise to solve complex issues, we would love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with internal and external contacts.
  • Provide insurance expertise in connection with acquisitions and dispositions of assets and businesses.
  • Negotiate transactional risk insurance coverage options with insurance carriers, customers, and their attorneys.
  • Review transaction and due diligence materials to understand target company profiles and provide preliminary terms.
  • Analyze potential "critical flaws" impacting transactions and collaborate with the legal team on coverage or contractual risk management issues.
  • Utilize deep experience and knowledge to handle complex situations creatively and effectively to close transactions.
  • Serve as the primary client contact from initial engagement through policy issuance.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of transactional risk insurance products, practices, and procedures.
  • Work independently with significant decision-making authority, communicating with key stakeholders as an expert in the team.
  • Negotiate RWI insurance policies.
  • Operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and make quick decisions while maintaining underwriting integrity.

What You'll Bring

  • At least five years of M&A experience as an attorney, transaction risk broker, underwriter, accountant, investment banker, or similar deal professional.
  • Experience advising clients on practical insurance solutions for complex transaction issues.
  • Property & Casualty license and Excess/Surplus Lines license, or the ability to obtain them within 60 days of employment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, sales, and relationship management skills.
  • Willingness to travel for industry conferences and client meetings.
  • Robust legal and financial acumen.

Additional Details

This position is open to remote workers.

Pay Range: $113,000 - $263,800 annually. This range is an estimate and actual pay depends on factors such as experience, skills, and location.
