Mercor is seeking a Music Production Expert to evaluate AI-generated music and collaborate with AI research teams. This is a remote contract role with a 20-hour weekly commitment. Native or near-native Spanish (MX) required, with 2+ years as a music producer or audio engineer. You will follow detailed English instructions and help refine training data and model outputs. You will work asynchronously to meet deadlines and contribute to labelings of genre, structure, and vocal quality.
Qualifications
Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish (MX) and ability to follow detailed instructions in English.
2+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer.
Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.
Responsibilities
Evaluate AI-generated music across genres for musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality.
Label songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other musical characteristics.
Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality and accuracy.
Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance training data quality and model outputs.
