Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Music Production Expert (Spanish MX) for a contract, remote role. You will evaluate AI-generated music across genres, label tracks by musical attributes, and review lyrics against references.

You will work asynchronously, meeting deadlines while contributing to model improvements. The position requires 2+ years in music production or related fields and native or near-native Spanish (MX) with the ability to follow English instructions; headphones or studio monitors suitable

Qualifications

Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish (MX) and ability to follow detailed instructions in English.
2+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer.
Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.

Responsibilities

Evaluate AI-generated music across genres for musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality.
Label songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other musical characteristics.
Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality and accuracy.
Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance training data quality and model outputs.
