Mercor is seeking a Music Audio Expert - Punjabi for a remote, contract role. You will evaluate AI-generated music outputs, score data quality, and help shape evaluation standards while collaborating with AI research teams.

Applicants should have 3+ years in music production or audio engineering, hold a music degree, and be fluent in Punjabi and English, with proven lyric-writing experience in the domain language. This role is up to 6 months with about 10+ hours/week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, and/or sound mixer.
• College degree in music, covering performance, theory, and lyrics.
• Proficiency in both Punjabi and English.
• Experience writing lyrical music in the domain language.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model output for lyrics and voice generation across various music categories.
• Score the quality of musical training data to enhance model performance.
• Develop and refine evaluation standards for AI-generated music .
• Collaborate with AI research teams to provide structured feedback.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines.
