The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of tutoring or teaching experience, strong reliability, and superb time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required from a Top 50 institution.
• Expert knowledge in standardized testing.
• Comfortable tutoring ACT/SAT and multivariable calculus.
• At least 2 years of verifiable experience, either working for a tutoring company or as a teacher at an accredited school.
• Extremely reliable, friendly, and confident – upbeat personalities.
• Available after school and on weekends.
• Access to a personal laptop for sessions and reliable internet; transportation if needed for in-person sessions.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized SAT/ACT instruction based on each student’s strengths and timeline.
• Teach test-taking strategies, content knowledge, pacing, and time management.
• Review diagnostic and practice tests to identify areas for improvement and create lesson plans.
• Assign practice work and hold students accountable for completion.
• Track progress and adjust instructional strategies to maximize score improvement.
• Maintain session notes, progress reports, and internal documentation.
• Communicate progress and concerns to students, families, and the company.
• Collaborate with tutors and counselors when plans intersect with college admissions.
