Job summary

Revolution Prep is hiring a full-time online tutor to deliver our in-house curriculum from home. You will tutor SAT/ACT prep, high school math through Algebra II, and executive function strategies, all while supporting student progress in a remote setting.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and at least one year of tutoring or teaching experience. Expect paid training, long-term scheduling, and a competitive hourly rate with potential raises based on performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 1 year of professional teaching or tutoring experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and currently residing in the U.S.
• Comfortable teaching math through Algebra II.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain challenging concepts clearly and patiently.
• SAT/ACT tutoring or test-preparation experience is a plus.
• AP STEM subject expertise is a plus.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging online tutoring sessions using Revolution Prep's curriculum and resources.
• Help students understand challenging concepts and develop effective learning strategies.
• Prepare for sessions using company-provided materials.
• Communicate with students and families about academic progress.
• Build supportive relationships that motivate students to reach their goals.
• Participate in paid training and ongoing professional development.
• Collaborate with Faculty Leaders and fellow tutors to continuously improve your teaching.
