Job summary

MORI Associates is seeking a Multimedia Specialist to provide remote strategic communications for the Chief Data Office under the eMITS contract for NASA. The role focuses on creating marketing campaigns, social media management, and content development across multiple channels to support CDAIO priorities and NASA initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in multimedia and social media, strong writing/editing skills, and the ability to distill complex technical topics for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Communications, Mass Communications, Journalism, English, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in multimedia software and social media platforms.
• Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
• Generate ideas for content across media: text, audio, video, graphics.
• Proficiency with SharePoint and WordPress.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain communications plans using multimodal methods, including SharePoint, videos, newsletters, and notices.
• Provide communications support to advance awareness of NASA data and AI initiatives.
• Author employee-facing communications and executive presentations.
• Develop and write success stories highlighting data and AI usage across the agency.
• Translate complex technical information into clear content for non-technical audiences.
• Edit content to ensure factual messaging using NASA standards and AP style.
• Utilize SharePoint and Teams for storage and communication paths.
• Develop executive level reports and respond to inquiries.
• Coordinate content for CDAIO speaking engagements and media relations.
