Qualifications

• Fluency in one or more required languages: Arabic, Cantonese, Farsi, German, Haitian Creole, Japanese, Khmer, Kinyarwanda, Mandarin, Nepali, Oromo, Portuguese, Romanian, Somali, Thai, Ukrainian, Chinese (Simplified/Traditional).
• Must pass background check; ability to work independently or in team; proficient in MS and Adobe tools.

Responsibilities

• Accurately translate spoken situations (lectures, conversations, meetings).
• Transcribe spoken English using technology where applicable.
• Read originals and translate into target language.
• Edit translated versions for accuracy and style.
