Job summary

Zekai seeks practicing inpatient hospitalists (MD) to contribute to a healthcare AI partner focused on clinical documentation and decision-support tools. You will review, annotate, and evaluate hospital clinical documentation, directly shaping the accuracy, safety, and usefulness of AI systems while maintaining your active inpatient practice.

This 100% remote, part-time role requires multilingual proficiency at an advanced level in at least one non-English language and a flexible schedule around

Qualifications

• MD - hospitalist/internal medicine with 2+ years post-residency.
• Current inpatient practice.
• Fluency in English and at least one other language at advanced (C1) level or above.

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient documentation (H&Ps, progress notes, discharge summaries) for accuracy and clinical soundness.
• Annotate inpatient encounter data against guidelines and identify omissions, hallucinations, and inaccuracies.
• Provide structured, written feedback for engineering and product teams to act on.
• Contribute to annotation guidelines, documentation standards, and edge-case definitions.
