Job summary

UMass Global, a private nonprofit affiliate of the University of Massachusetts, is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member for the Master of Social Work program. This fully remote, part-time role involves teaching didactic and field education courses and supporting MSW students through feedback and mentoring.

Qualified candidates will hold an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program and have at least two years of university teaching experience, with availability for synchronous sessions across time zones

Qualifications

• MSW degree from CSWE-accredited program and 2 years of university teaching experience.
• Available to hold synchronous sessions or supplemental supervision for MSW students across various time zones.

Responsibilities

• Teach didactic and field education courses within the MSW program.
• Mentor or supervise students, engage with students in discussions, and assess assignments.
• Collaborate with faculty or staff within the social work department and respond to department communications.
• Utilize LMS and video platforms; participate in meetings and development sessions.
• If teaching field seminar, liaison with practicum agencies and supervisors regularly.
