Remote adjuncts must have reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace to effectively manage teaching responsibilities. This role is ideal for experienced professionals seeking to contribute to higher education while maintaining the flexibility of remote work. Applicants will be hired to teach didactic and field education courses within the MSW programs.Key Responsibilities:- Teaching duties, mentoring, or supervising students.- Delivering course content, engaging with students in discussion boards, and grading and providing detailed feedback on assignments.- Collaborating with faculty or staff within the social work department including timely response to department emails.- Utilizing specific technologies or tools (e.g., LMS, video platforms, field placement tracking software).- Attending required meetings, training, or development sessions.- If teaching field seminar, liaison with practicum agencies and supervisors on a regular basis to ensure student success in field practicum.Required Qualifications:- A Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a CSWE-accredited program is required plus 2 year teaching experience in a university setting- Available to hold synchronous sessions or supplemental supervision for MSW students across various time zones.Preferred Qualifications:- Online Teaching Experience (2 year or more)- Field Seminar Instruction Experience (2 year or more)- Experience supervising students in their field practicum and working with agency supervisors (1 year or more)- Experience teaching in the following areas will be given preference: clinical social work, research methods, and field practicumWork Environment:A remote adjunct work environment is a flexible, virtual setting where instructors deliver course content, engage with students, and fulfill academic responsibilities from a remote location.
