Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Medical Science Liaison for Rhinology covering New England in a remote US role. You will engage KOLs, map stakeholders, and build long-term relationships while collaborating with Medical Affairs and other teams to inform medical strategies and evidence generation.

Ideal candidates hold an advanced life-science degree and have 2+ years in pharma/MSL or clinical practice, with Rhinology/Otolaryngology experience being a plus. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a technical, scientific or medical field.
• Must reside in the territory; West territory includes MA, NY, VT, NH, ME, RI, CT.
• Minimum of 2 years in pharma/Medical Science Liaison or relevant clinical practice.
• Immunology/Rhinology/Otolaryngology experience may be considered.
• Strong understanding of medical practice, healthcare systems, and decision making.
• Ability to interpret key scientific data and translate information for education and research needs.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver cutting-edge scientific/evidence-based data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in working on multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Scientific Engagement: conduct one-on-one and group interactions with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Mapping & Strategy: identify and prioritize ~50 stakeholders and develop engagement plans.
• Relationship Building: establish long-term peer relationships with KOLs, payers, and HCPs.
• Congress & Event Presence: attend congresses, symposia, and educational meetings or advisory boards.
• Medical Information Support: respond to unsolicited medical information requests and support speaker training.
• Insight Generation: gather feedback, evaluate studies, and report insights to inform strategies.
• Internal Collaboration: share scientific information with Medical Affairs, Commercial Operations and other teams.
• Evidence Generation Support: identify clinical trial sites and support ISS submissions.
• Healthcare Policy Awareness: understand policies at local, state, and national levels.
• Independent Operation & Compliance: work remotely with travel as needed, maintain regulatory boundaries.
