Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Manager of Managed XSIAM SOC Engineering to lead a high-performing team of SOC and Detection Engineers. You will steer technical strategy, contribute code, and own end-to-end detection and playbook development in a remote/hybrid setup.

You will collaborate with Cortex Engineering and Unit 42 to elevate detection efficacy, automate workflows, and ensure operational excellence across geographies. Strong leadership and coding skills are essential.

Formación

• 3+ years managing security engineering or SOC teams in enterprise/MSSP environments.
• 5+ years in Detection Engineering, SIEM, SOAR, and EDR/XDR platforms as a technical authority.
• Hands-on coding with Python; experience with DaC and CI/CD for playbooks.
• Deep understanding of APT lifecycles and ability to design automated detection/workflows.
• Proven ability to deliver against SLAs and quality metrics while leading teams.
• Excellent collaboration skills bridging technical concepts with executives and clients.

Responsabilidades

• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of SOC and Detection Engineers.
• Stay hands-on in engineering cycles: evaluate designs, write code, and craft automation playbooks.
• Drive research into threat landscapes and plan content packs, integrations, and automation initiatives.
• Own end-to-end detection and playbook development; manage KPIs like SLA adherence and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Unit 42 and Cortex Engineering to translate research into production XSIAM capabilities.
• Enforce development standards, testing, and tuning for optimal performance.
• Serve as senior escalation point for high-priority client engagements and reviews.
