Job summary

Stride, Inc. seeks a Middle School Science Instructional Coach to collaborate with MVCA and local educators, delivering professional learning in a remote, PBL-based environment.

The role emphasizes content and instructional expertise to improve teaching practices and student outcomes in Michigan. You'll design and facilitate ongoing professional development, observe classroom practice, and provide feedback to teachers and administrators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education required and Michigan teaching certification.
• Five years of successful teaching experience with middle school students.
• Ability to travel up to 25% and pass background check

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver professional learning for teachers and school leaders.
• Model effective and differentiated instruction aligned to standards and data.
• Observe teachers, provide feedback and coaching to improve practice.
• Support data-informed instructional decisions and assessment practices
