Job summary

LMR is seeking a Technical Writer to develop Maintenance Procedure Cards (MPCs) for Coast Guard assets under APO and HM&E. This remote, US-based role requires five years of naval maintenance experience and strong technical writing skills.

Candidates should be familiar with PMS processes, MRLs, and Coast Guard procedures and must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Responsibilities include drafting MPCs, translating OEM maintenance into Coast Guard format, and

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience with relevant naval engineering maintenance procedure development or Coast Guard MPC development.
• Working knowledge of Coast Guard processes, databases, and tools used to review and update cutter maintenance records.
• Proficiency with standard office equipment and Microsoft Office apps.

Responsibilities

• Author MPCs including drafting, updating, reviewing, and quality control in accordance with PMS development process.
• Review maintenance requirements and generate MPCs from approved MRL.
• Develop detailed maintenance procedures for preventive and corrective tasks.
