Job summary

Sezzle is seeking a talented Graphic Design: Video Editing Intern who will develop engaging 2D animations, motion graphics, and edited video content for the Sezzle app, YouTube, and Google Paid Ads, collaborating with our creative staff to maintain brand consistency.

You will assist in animation, video editing, and storytelling while applying AI tools to boost productivity and deliver high-quality work that aligns with campaign goals and timelines.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in motion design or animation.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of motion design principles and timing.
• Solid video editing fundamentals (pacing, rhythm, storytelling).
• Ability to follow creative direction and brand guidelines.
• Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools.
• Strong written English for scripting and captioning.

Responsibilities

• Animation & Motion Graphics: Create 2D motion graphics and animated assets; translate briefs into sequences; implement revisions from feedback.
• Video Editing: Edit short-form and mid-length video content; assemble rough cuts; refine pacing, transitions, and audio; add graphics and captions.
• Script & Story Support: Draft and refine video scripts into narrative outlines; ensure messaging aligns with brand goals.
