Job summary

Mutual of Omaha Mortgage is seeking a skilled mortgage loan processor to support ultra-high-volume retail loan officers in a remote role. This position emphasizes Pacific Time hours and requires careful data input, compliance checks, and timely communication with underwriting and sales teams.

Candidates should have prior loan processing experience, strong MS Office skills, and a customer-service orientation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in mortgage loan processing required.
• Strong MS Office skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Knowledge of mortgage industry regulations and compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage and process a full pipeline of mortgage loan files (25-30).
• Evaluate loan files for regulatory compliance and completeness.
• Accurately review and input pertinent loan data into operational systems.
• Order title reports and property appraisals.
• Obtain underwriting conditions from loan officer/applicant(s).
• Communicate pipeline and file status to retail sales channels and management.
• Collaborate with operations to create efficient workflows.
• Complete required checklists and worksheets.
