Job summary
Mutual of Omaha Mortgage is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to support ultra high-volume retail loan officers in a remote role. The position emphasizes processing a large loan pipeline, ensuring regulatory compliance, and inputting data accurately into systems.
The ideal candidate has prior mortgage loan processing experience, solid MS Office skills, and excellent time management and customer service abilities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in mortgage loan processing required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Excellent computer skills with the ability to learn new systems
- Knowledge of MS Office products
- Strong customer service and time management skills a must
- Highly motivated and determined to succeed in a competitive, time sensitive industry
Responsibilities
- Manage and process a full pipeline of mortgage loan files (25-30)
- Evaluate loan files for regulatory compliance and completeness
- Input loan data into operational systems
- Order title reports and property appraisals
- Obtain underwriting conditions from loan officer/applicant
- Communicate pipeline status to retail sales channels and management
- Collaborate with operational departments to create efficient workflows
- Complete required checklists and worksheets
